Raking Shore

Our Construction Technology 2 module includes a portfolio of technical drawings. I’ve finnnnnaaalllllyyyyy worked out how to get a good quality photo into my autocad drawing so POW here it is!!

This drawing is of a raking shore at Weekday Cross in Nottingham (here on googlemaps). A raking shore is a temporary or permanent structure that leans on a weak wall to support it and carry the outward load. This one is a permanent, timber structure.
